2021: Albion's "STAR" shined bright!


Highlights of the Albion S.T.A.R. Team's work in 2021:

  • New website designed and launched

  • Federal Resources for Creative Community Development webinar

  • Collaborated with Town of Albion to promote new Celebration Station alley venue

  • Wrapped up Hometown Collaboration Initiative project (Celebration Station)

  • Began merger with Courthouse Square Preservation Society

  • Began review of organizational bylaws (to reflect merger)

  • Hosted Life-Sized games event

  • Hosted Albion-opoly event

  • Hosted Fall Celebration on the Square

  • Hosted Scare on the Square activities

  • Hosted meeting with Albion community/businesses to discuss organization's future

  • Promoted Holidays Shops / Christmas in the Village

As 2021 comes to a close, the Albion S.T.A.R. Team core leadership wishes to thank everyone who volunteered on our committees and at downtown events, as well as our collaborating partners including the Town of Albion, Albion Chamber of Commerce, Noble County EDC, Newman & Newman, and so many others willing to jump in to help build and sustain a vibrant downtown and support our local businesses.


We look forward to enhancing the strength of our organization, new projects, and helping to promote and grow our downtown businesses. We will be seeking your continued involvement in 2022! Stay tuned!
