Join us for Historic Downtown Albion's Halloween tradition, Scare on the Square, with something not-so-scary and fun for everyone!

Trunk or Treat
5:30 - 7:30 PM

Ghosts and goblins in search of treats will find them at Trunk or Treat on the west side of the square from 5:30 until 7:30 PM, or until gone. (Please do not solicit treats before 5:30 PM; allow time for our sponsors to arrive and set up before entering the area. This is for your safety and respects our sponsors' efforts. Thank you!)

Want to hand out candy? Citizens, businesses, and organizations are invited to decorate a trunk, van, or truck bed and distribute Halloween treats to the children of our community - and compete for the "best decorations" $25 top prize! Participating vehicles will park along W Jefferson Street (north side) and N York Street (west side), filling Jefferson street first. Live Clue Game
Registration / Check-in opens at 5:30 PM

Bring your friends, family, coworkers, or club and play Albion's Live Clue Game! Teams will compete to be the first to solve a murder in downtown Albion. Teams will be challenged to determine where the victim met their demise and which weapon was used. Visits to downtown businesses will reveal the clues! This activity is great fun for older children and adults. $25 to play, with a chance to win $50! Check your team in at the Police Booth at the stoplight between 5:30 and 6:00 PM.

Game play begins at 6:00 o'clock and usually takes about an hour to 90 minutes to determine a winner. Dress comfortably to be outdoors and walking!
