People's Choice Scarecrow
Voting is now open for the community to help choose a Best Scarecrow Winner! Find the 11 scarecrows around the square and vote for your favorite(s)! Voting ends Oct. 29 at 3:30 PM, just in time for a winner to be announced at the Scarecrow Auction to kick off Scare on the Square! Vote online or in person.
Scarecrow Auction 5 PM
Be sure to kick off the celebration by bidding to win your favorite scarecrow! All of the scarecrows decorating the square this fall will be auctioned off at the corner by the police booth (at the stoplight). Cash or check only, please. The auction kicks off Scare on the Square, with proceeds benefitting the Albion S.T.A.R. Team, your hosts for this and other downtown events throughout the year!
Hogwarts Halloween - in the Alley 5-8 PM
Harry Potter enthusiasts will not want to miss the line-up of Potter-related fun that will take place in the Celebration Station alley from 5 to 8 PM. Event is sponsored by the Noble County Public Library.
Trunk or Treat 6-7 PM (ONLY!)
Ghosts and goblins in search of treats will find them at Trunk or Treat from 6-7 PM. (Please do not solicit treats until 6 PM or after so that our kind and generous sponsors and donors, who are providing treats, have time to safely set up and be ready to greet you). Citizens are invited to decorate their trunk, boot, or bed and distribute Halloween treats to the children of our community - and compete for the "best decorations" top cash prize! Participating vehicles will park along West Main Street and West Jefferson Street.
Live Clue Game - Registration / Check-in opens at 5:30 PM
Bring your friends, family, coworkers, or club and play Live Clue! Teams will compete to be the first to solve who killed Mr. Boddy, where he died, and the weapon used by visiting downtown businesses to find the clues. This activity is great fun for older children and adults.
Teams may also register beginning at 5:30 PM at Scare on the Square. Registration and check-in opens at 5:30 PM and game play will begin at about 6:00 PM.
