ALBION--To help Albion's future, the Albion S.T.A.R. Team will be relying on its past.
As a fundraiser to benefit downtown Albion revitalization, the S.T.A.R. Team will be putting on a Star-spangled Evening at the Albion Opera House on May 29.
For $20 per person, attendees can enjoy an old-fashioned chicken dinner, patriotic music, a pie auction and more.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.
Checks should be made payable to Albion S.T.A.R. Team and reservations should be made by May 15.
The Super Town of Albion Revitalization Team has been organized to assist the town in historical preservation, enhancment and maintenance of buildings, as well as to instill community heritage in the downtown business district while assisting the Courthouse Square Preservation Society.
The role of the S.T.A.R. Team is to implement the techniques of the Main Street program.

- July 31: Albion-opoly;
- Oct. 30: Scare on the Square; and
- Dec. 4: S.T.A.R. Bazaar.
