The judging, which took place on May 3rd between the hours of 4:30-7:30 p.m., has taken place and its now time for you to place your vote for the People's Choice award. Use the button to the right to place your vote. The S.T.A.R. Team would like to say congratulations to the following winners:

2017 First Friday Events

Albion’s First Friday events occur on the first Friday of each month between the months of May and October. First Friday events take place near and around the courthouse square at 6 p.m. where citizens can partake in fun-filled activities while visiting local businesses for eating and shopping. The tentative First Friday events are subject to change.

Committee Meetings

The S.T.A.R. Team conducts monthly meetings on the second Wednesday of each month at 7 the Cole Room of the Noble County Plublic Library, Albion, IN. Our meetings are open to the public.

The S.T.A.R. Team’s vision is to revitalize Albion’s downtown square to be a community meeting place and a commercial center. We hope to do this with four primary focuses:

Albion is the County seat of Noble County, Indiana. We have a beautiful red brick courthouse in the middle of our downtown square.

  • historic preservation and enhancement
  • maintenance of buildings
  • install community heritage in the downtown
  • assisting the Courthouse Square Preservation Society
